Your child's first period teacher acts as your child's mentor for purposes of progression & career interests. They, along with the guidance department & other educational specialists, keep tabs on your child's academic progress. The first period at BMS is extended by 10 minutes daily for mentoring & other events, and is considered homeroom time.
